Ramada Suites By Wyndham KLCC recently welcomed Gianni Sarracino and Andrea Visone to the hotel.Click though to read all of his review.
An edited excerpt is below.
“I’ve outlined 5 reasons that will hopefully help you making a decision for your upcoming trip or staycation – in case you’re already in Malaysia (shout out to all my Malaysian readers!)”
1. The location
The Ramada Suites by Wyndham KLCC is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre; you can easily walk to some of the most famous landmarks the city has to offer (if you feel you can take the heat) or it is so easy to grab a Grab to anywhere. If you’re a foodie, you might particularly enjoy the Jalan Alor night food market, where most local foods are available for anyone to try.KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, Chinatown, and Little India are all in reach within walking distance – a nice touch for a rather large city.
2. The pool..oh the pool!
It would be impossible for me to write a list of benefits or reasons to stay at the Ramada Suites without mentioning the pool. Clear water, clean and minimalistic terrace with sun beds and an awesome view are available for anyone staying in the hotel.
The temperature of the water is actually pretty chilled compared to the atmosphere, it is incredibly nice and refreshing. The only grip is that the sun is covered by the buildings around, so if sunbathing is your thing, you might want to consider doing that early in the morning as after lunch time / check in time (3pm) this won’t be an option.A true Insta-Friendly pool in KL and definitely a good place to do some yoga practice if the deck is quiet.
3. The room deco and the wifi!
The room looks simple and minimalistic at a first glance; but a simple look reveals all the tiny details that make it extra comfortable. The massive table is a must for anyone working on the go – digital nomads and beyond. The chairs there are more comfortable than any cafe I’ve been in the city – and trust me, I’ve seen a few!
The wifi there works like magic, you don’t need to leave your room to download your cheeky Netflix show or get some work done. The understated luxury interior really works with my aesthetic, so I felt right at home during my stay.
4. The view, duh?
The view is to die for, especially in the evening when the sun goes down. Watching the busy city being awake and evolve while you lie down on your bed is a beautiful experience. There is so much to see at any corner of the hotels’ terrace, you can get lost and reach as far as your eyes can go.
5. The gym and the breakfast bar
Food and workout go hand in hand. The amazing rooftop gym is equipped with all the essentials for a quick workout in between discovery trips or work sprees. We didn’t find the breakfast particularly jaw dropping, but we were pleased to find good variety of vegetarian choices. Apart from that, we thought breakfast deserved a point on its own for the amount of choice they offer – which is a blessing right before a long day of walk and sweaty tourist action.
Happy exploring Malaysia!
See you soon!
